Veil & Light is a wedding studio first. Birthday coverage came from our own families asking — and it is now one of the things we love photographing most.
Fast with children, patient with parents
Nobody is asked to pose. We photograph the party as it actually happens: the doorway arrival, the sugar rush, the candles, and the face of whoever is watching from the side of the room.
One to two hours, not a full day
Birthday coverage is short and focused by design. You get the milestone documented properly without a photographer shadowing your family for six hours.

Based in Totowa, minutes from Woodland Park, Clifton, Wayne, and Paterson. We know the venues, the parking, and how the light moves through them.
What We Photograph
Birthdays, milestones, and the ordinary days.
Most birthday sessions run one to two hours. We arrive before the guests, photograph the room while it is still styled, and then stay out of the way — documenting the party rather than directing it.
We travel throughout Totowa, Woodland Park, Clifton, Wayne, Paterson, and the surrounding towns, and we photograph at home, at family halls, and at indoor play spaces.
If your gathering is women-only, that is already how we work — the same approach as our private female-only sessions.

Wonder Lane is a women-owned indoor play space in Woodland Park, New Jersey, and Farah is their official party photographer. If you are booking a birthday there, photography can be added straight onto your party package — and Farah is the photographer who shows up.
Parties run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Add the photography option when you choose your date, and there is nothing else to arrange with us.
